Name: Kisaragi Madara

Appearance:

Madara is 5'10”. He has long black hair and a signature scare that runs diagonally from right down to left, right beneath his left eye. When it comes to his eyes they are rather unique, his iris is crimson red. He wears a medallion in the shape of the sun which was a gift from an old friend and it is also his most cherished possession. He wears traditional Shinigami clothing with no variation from standard issued ones.

Personality:

Madara's personality varies depending on his mood but he is generally open-minded. He cherishes friendships that he makes with the utmost respect and would give his life for them if needed. When it comes to strangers, he is usually reserved but with enough time he will lower his guard and open up to them if he deems them as good people. Madara exhibits slightly above average intelligence and likes to analyze most of his actions and others'. He will often find himself having an inner monologue when he's alone, reflecting on things that passed and are yet to come. When it comes to working if needed he can be strict and methodical depending on what the current situation requires.

Biography:

Madara was born in 1530 in feudal Japan, during the warring states era. His family was highly recognized as one of the best tacticians and swordsmen in the central part of Japan. The territory that they held was considered small compared to their neighbors but the amount of fear and respect that the Kisaragi clan invoked was usually enough to keep the invaders at bay. But that all changed with the coming of Nobunaga Oda that stormed this small territory and obliterated the entire clan. In their hubris, the Kisaragi clan was caught off guard but it is highly debated that they could have won even if they were prepared. Madara was slain by one of Nobunaga's lieutenants while trying to defend his younger siblings but to no avail. His spirit was found wandering the battlefield avoiding countless hollows that were on the hunt for the poor souls that were slain there. Luckily he was saved by the arrival of Shinigamis that were dispatched to slay the abominations and transport any other souls that were found there. As they transported them he requested to be dropped off somewhere secluded and the Shinigamis took pity on this soul and dropped him off near an abandoned cottage which Madara made his home for some time.
