BA Event #1

In our first event, each Faction faces off with its own internal struggles.

Gotei 13 - The Schism War

Strong republics give way to weak democracies which succumb to tyranny. That is the philosophical framework upon which the separatists justify their revolt. It's been three weeks now since 8th Taichou Takahashi Morimoto, nailed his proclamations on the door leading into Central 46. It was signed by a number of other Taichou along with all their Fukutaichou. Their demands come down to the suspension of Central 46 and the instatement of a provisional, republic government which is to oversee drastic democratic reform. Worryingly to the Noble Households, it would strip them of their privileged rights and see the Rukongai masses beget a vote in a newly established Senate.

Meanwhile, more than 80% of Shinigami and 90% of their leadership, is drawn from the higher echelons of Soul Society's civilization. They do almost all of the fighting and almost all of the suffering, to keep the denizens of Rukongai safe. They stand to reason that since they suffer most of the risk, they get to call the shots on when and how that risk is suffered. What would the unwashed masses of Rukongai know about fighting a Hollow? Besides, the Gotei 13 was constitutionally founded by the Noble houses, so every Shinigami owes them their loyalty.

Tensions rise and not a single patrol has been sent out to Gense since the proclamation, every Bantai keeps its forces inside its barracks. And there, they wait. Waiting, vainly hoping that something will happen which would soothe the situation.

Las Noches - A Veiled Threat

The Hougyoku is missing! It must have something to do with the Arrancar disappearances of late. A number of Número have gone missing, starting six weeks ago while going about outside of Las Noches. Since there is virtually no control over how and where Arrancar move about, it has been extremely difficult to piece together what happened to them. But the Espada Meeting agrees on one thing: someone or something is after Arrancar. Despite some haphazard measures to increase security, disappearances kept happening and ever closer to home. 

Now the unthinkable has happened! A Número has disappeared inside of Las Noches along with the Hougyoku. They were last seen entering an antechamber close to the Hougyoku's vault. Since then, there has been no trace of them. Finally realizing that their disjointed and aloof "cooperation" hasn't worked, the Espada have agreed to join forces and get to the bottom of this.

Wandenreich - Primogenitor

Centuries ago, when civilization was only dawning, there were already many spiritually gifted humans around. Naturally, they were preyed on by Hollows as much then as they are now. Different tribes had different ways of dealing with these Hollows and their ability to keep their people safe lead to the emergence of a ruling priesthood elite. After generations had passed, this priesthood had gotten an iron hold over all of society and demanded tribute and offerings in return for their protection. 

One such group of spiritually gifted people, the Kuwen follow a young leader they call YHWH and who can seemingly predict the future. Dissatisfied with the power hegemony of the priesthood, YHWH leads his people into the desert where they start a rebellion against the priesthood of Memphis, their overlords. He promises the ability to defend themselves against the Hollow for every Kuwen and that they no longer require the priests, and their protection rackets, to do the job.
