A young man that looks to be in his early 20s. Caius has dirty blonde hair, swept over to one side that gets darker as his hair goes down to its root. Underneath here his hair parts is a scar in the shape of a cross just above his eyebrow. He has piercing blue-green eyes and slight stubble around his chin. 

When he isn't wearing his shihakusho, he is usually seen wearing quite regal clothing. Typically sporting dark blues, whites, and even gold accents. His main attire, is a white and navy, long sleeves shirt with gold trim. Coming down from his lapel are two long, crimson, and gold pieces that end in a golden point. This is tucked into a brown leather belt that has a golden buckle. Black jeans, with two navy straps on his right leg, both of which have a gold fastener, with a gold piece on his knee. He also wears a pair of black gloves and a brown trench coat that he typically carries over his shoulder. 

Around his neck is a golden chain, with a golden, shark tooth. This is the only thing he has to remind him of his father. 

Personality

Quite crass and standoffish, Caius has trouble interacting with others. Suffering from a hero complex, he seems to always believe what he is doing is right and just and that those who oppose him are evil and need to be stopped. Although he acts tough, he is quite empathetic, a trait that people say he gets from his father. 

He is quite introverted and would rather listen to people than partake in conversation directly. He claims to have selective mutism, meaning unless he is comfortable around someone, he would barely speak if anything. Although, once he warms to you he is loyal to a fault. 

He is of above-average intelligence, and always early to meetings or the like mainly due to his anxiousness about being late. His skills on the battlefield are quite honed, being trained by his mother a woman who claims to be on the level of a vice-captain (although Caius believes this was a lie to make him take his training seriously). 

Biography

Caius was born to a loving mother and father in the South Rukon district. He was brought up comfortable and never had any issues when growing up until one day when he was quite young his father disappeared. He had found out from his mother that his dad had been a member of the Gotei 13 and occasionally would go on long missions, however, he had given up the post a long time ago, so his disappearance was strange. His mother began to train him from then on, giving him a necklace that his father had given her a while back. 

Once he got as strong as he could and when he became of age Caius joined the Soul Reaper Academy wishing to find answers to his father's disappearance and hopefully find him once again and bring him home. 

Sample Story

Caius awoke, his head thumping from the previous night's overindulgence in sake. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes and staggering to his feet he began to make his way steadily and slowly down the stairs. The smell of bacon, sausages, egg and beans filled the kitchen as he began to cook what was a classic hangover cure from his mother and fathers previous lives, a full english fry. "I'm never drinking again" he lied to himself, biting into a sausage. 

He could feel himself getting better the more he ate, but with his stomach churning and his head thumping all he could really think about was going back to sleep and hopefully the sweet mercy of death could cure him. After wolfing down his meal, Caius proceeded to the sofa and began channel hopping to see if anything was on. As time pressed on, his head finally began to soothe and his stomach's constant backflips began to subside. The TV's noise in the background began to ease off as Caius closed his eyes once more, silence overtaking him as sleep grabbed ahold of him once more.
