How To Embed Images in Posts

You can now easily embed any image into your posts and replies by using direct links. The editor will recognise any direct link to an jpg, png, bmp, et cetera and convert it to the img (image). Simply post the direct link into the editor and it should work. Should you have trouble, you're likely not using the actual direct link to an image. Here's a short tutorial using imgur.com.

Say you want to display this image for...scientific reasons.

Here's how you do it:

1. Go to your imgur account and upload your picture

2. Right click the image and open it in a new tab

3. The URL bar will now have the direct link, copy that.

5. post that link into the editor and the image will appear.
