With the return of the anime, I'd be willing to bet a lot of Bleach fans took a crack at the manga. If they hadn't read it before the cancellation, they might have gone on to read it after to find out how the series was supposed to end even manga wasn't strictly speaking their thing.
My question is this: what're you looking forwards to watching the most? Which events? Which fights? Please keep all spoilery stuff in spoiler tags - there will be folks that resisted and have been waiting just for the anime to return 😀
the main thing I’m wanting to see but also not ready for
You gotta put your spoilers in the tags bud 😛
Obviously my man Askin absolutely destroying everyone
Honestly, what I'm most interested in is the lore-building development. There's been a movie that mentioned
Revisiting this idea, I think I'm looking forwards to seeing where this final arc actually takes Bleach as a whole. Once it's over, if there's enough hype, the manga may well continue on. Hell, at this stage I may even be willing to accept a spin off series, or a continuation but with fresh characters (think Boruto).
I do miss the art style, it's very recognizable and I always found the panels crisp and easy on the eyes. I wonder how Kubo-san is doing these days - hopefully he's as hyped up as the fandom is!
Can't wait to see that animated. It is one of my favorite side arcs in the final chapter. Yeah, the fights will be cool and all, but I'm a story junky, and I just can't wait to see this part of the story either fleshed out more or animated beautifully
Can't wait to see Kyoraku's Bankai
It's been a bit since I read the arc they're now airing, but I also read it at a time where I didn't really keep up out of interest but more out of obligation. The end of the arc always felt very convoluted to me, with many things happening at once and lots of things just happening so that manga got finished on time.
I look forward to the anime format of it, which is generally a bit more slow paced and prone to over explaining things. Who knows! I might even like the villain by then!
I admit, I had (and indeed still have...) a lot of trouble following the plot in the manga to the point where the final Thousand Years Blood War arc mostly went over my head. I'm looking forwards to seeing it in anime format, my tiny brain will appreciate the storytelling and pretty moving pictures!

Kindred spirits! High five!
I felt like there was a lot of lore dumped into the last arc, with a lot of rewriting of stuff we thought we knew. I guess it was to take the reader along with Ichigo as all of it would be new to him as well, but in the Manga I just tend to gloss over those walls of text and hope further context will let me understand.
As you guys concluded, the manga arc felt incredibly rushed and it felt like every chapter had to include some big paradigm-shifting revelation. I hope the anime will pace these a bit better. Although, we're already at the Kenpachi vs Kenpachi fight XD. Super stoked in particular about Ichibei versus Ywach though.
