Welcome to the Recruitment Drive section! Here you can find a simple guide on creating a recruitment thread for your faction, including tips, tricks and what to avoid.

When creating your recruitment thread, you should keep the following things in mind:

  • Create a welcoming atmosphere - you need to sell your faction as the one for new players to pick above all the others! You can make your recruitment thread as flashy as you like, but please credit any images you use with their original source!
  • Get permission from your faction leader first before posting a new thread here.
  • Make sure your thread contains helpful information that may help new RPers, such as handy links to any useful threads your faction may have (rankings threads, creative writing threads, examples of great RP)  - if your faction has a buddy system, or a designated point of contact for new applicants and recruits, it would be a great idea to link their profile along with the thread. Keep it simple, though! You have a lot of freedom here, but it's better to avoid overloading prospective players so focus on what would be really, really helpful!
  • In the interest of keeping things fair, please do not offer unfair incentives to potential new recruits, such as the promise of a specific rank, or early access to abilities they wouldn't otherwise gain if they were to join other subfactions. We of course recognise that factions may create their own unique abilities and techniques, and you're free to advertise those as a unique selling point of your faction, but please do not offer early access to powers and abilities (such as offering Bankai access to a much earlier seat than would otherwise be allowed on the condition they apply) to sway potential recruits.
  • You may bump your faction's recruitment post once every two weeks, but we would encourage you to refresh your recruitment thread at the same time if possible. It is acceptable to post an entirely new recruitment thread if you wish, but the old one will be archived accordingly.
  • You may use your faction's recruitment thread as a place to answer any questions presented to your faction - responding to questions does not count as bumping your thread, but please avoid RPing there or general chatter. Perhaps you could direct them to your faction's off-topic thread instead?
